Between November 21, 2017, and July 31, 2018, our firm initiated four (4) class actions against approximately 220 car dealerships across Quebec.
After several months of work, a settlement agreement involving 150 of these dealerships was finally approved by the Superior Court of Quebec on October 8.

Proposed class
For the first action: All consumers who, between November 21, 2017 and May 5, 2021, have paid or have been required to pay an amount higher than that initially announced by Brossard Hyundai when purchasing a vehicle or after expressing their intention to purchase a vehicle;
For the second action: All consumers who, between May 5, 2018 and October 22, 2021, have paid an amount higher than that initially announced by the defendants when purchasing a new or used vehicle.
For the third action: All consumers who, between May 29, 2018 and November 15, 2021, have paid an amount higher than that initially announced by the defendants when buying or leasing a new or used vehicle.
For the fourth action: All consumers who, between July 31, 2018 and January 17, 2022, paid an amount higher than that initially announced by the defendants and/or were required to pay a sum for goods or services by the defendants without their having requested it, when buying or leasing a new or used vehicle.

If you fall within the definition of the groups referred to above, you are automatically part of these class actions.
