Our firm accepts several types of billing according to your needs. We take legal aid mandates after evaluation, on a case by case basis.
Percentage rate
With the percentage rate, the lawyer agrees to be paid according to a percentage of the amount that will be obtained at the end of the legal proceedings (trial, settlement or other). We win together or lose together.
We accept percentage compensation only in SAAQ, IVAC, civil liability, medical malpractice and class action cases. Please note that in some cases, a flat rate applies at the beginning of the case.
Legal aid
For persons eligible for legal aid, the lawyer’s fees are paid by legal aid. As a result, you do not pay anything as long as you get a legal aid mandate.
Please note that we accept legal aid mandates in criminal law cases, in housing law cases, in some CNESST cases, and in social assistance cases, except in marital life cases.
Flat rate
The flat rate is a fixed price to process your case from the challenge of a review decision to the final judgment of the court.
Hourly rate
The hourly rate is set before starting the work. You will be charged based on the number of hours the lawyer has spent on your case. For inquiries on our lawyers’ hourly rates, please do not hesitate to contact us by using the contact form below.
Legal insurance
If you have legal expenses insurance, your insurance company pays the lawyer’s fees, in whole or in part. Please note that you are entitled to the lawyer of your choice and that most of our services are covered by legal insurance.

Access to justice
Our firm is proud to contribute to the accessibility of justice by charging contingency fees. We understand that justice is unfortunately not accessible to the entire population and that not everyone can afford to pay for a lawyer on an hourly or on a fee basis.
According to a survey on access to justice conducted by the Ministry of Justice in 2016, 69% of respondents believe that they would not have the financial means to defend themselves in court.
We are pleased to participate in making justice more accessible by offering our clients a percentage agreement. Indeed, many of our clients are victims of accidents who are unfit for employment, without great financial means. For example, we have had compensation recognized to people who have been fighting for a very long time in many cases.
