In April 2018, Cogeco implemented a new customer management computer system to consolidate several information technology systems, which completely congested their customer service center for months.
This transition has also led to billing errors and service delivery issues, causing harm to tens of thousands of people in Quebec and Ontario.
On January 14, 2019, our firm filed an application for authorization to bring a class action against Cogeco.
The purpose of this request is to obtain compensation for our customers as well as for all persons who have had billing problems related to Cogeco’s Internet, television and/or home phone services since April 1, 2018, as well as all persons who have been deprived of one or more of these services at any given time since April 1, 2018.
