Azure is a law student entering her final year at McGill University. She joined our team in 2024 and brings with her a remarkable commitment to access to justice and a motivation to explore various areas of law.
Azure developed her interest in law during an internship at Juripop, where she was introduced to domestic violence issues. The impact that the law can have on a person’s life has had a profound impact on her. To further explore the different impacts of the law, Azure has completed internships with the DPCP and the CQDE; she also competed in the Laskin Moot Court Competition, where her team won third place overall. These experiences confirmed his varied interests, including civil litigation, criminal law, constitutional law and class actions.
Efficient and dedicated, Azure works daily to increase access to justice in her community, particularly through her volunteer involvement with the YWCA Legal Clinic, the McGill Legal Information Clinic and the Innocence Project.
Azure is also actively involved in student life, being responsible for the organization of various projects and events, whether as President of the McGill Francophone Debating Club, as Vice-President of Events of the McGill Criminal Law Club or as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Academic Secretariat of the McGill Faculty of Law.
With its commitment to access to justice, hands-on experience, and motivation to explore various areas of law, Azure is a valuable asset to our team.
